Hi guys,

This is a noob project. I making a basic LED paper lamp. I've got a question about adding an in line switch.

Is it possible to add an in line switch to an ac dc converter?

Here are the parts I'm using;

Using two of these modules

The switch

I'm using the CPS-12VDC-6W charger below

Thank you,

Yes

That switch is probably only a single pole switch. The risk (especially if you're using an 2 pin plug -- PLEASE DON'T) is that you could switch neutral instead of active.

Apart from that, the current rating seems OK.
