I need to know how to ocsillate the current between +55v and reverse. I have been advised to use multiple IR2103 half bridge drivers in conjunction with an arduino and 4 digital pins need the guidence to setup this circuit. Can anybody help. The more help I get the easier it is to understand the manual! I am designing a machine that puts out constant 55v ,and I want to put it through an H-bridge style setup to have forward and then reverse the polarity at a rate of 50hz, by utilising IR2103 half-bridge's and arduino. after hat the 55v at 50hz will excite a transformer with turn ratio 1:4.182 to achieve approximately 230v ac. thanks for any help in advance! in my video the volts/speed are slower and so are not showing the 55v. I need spoon feeding for this next part in my project also the project has come a long way since these pictures were taken, I have and extra coil added now and also a 16000uf capacitor bank where the smoothing capacitor is normally situated. any questions or help or advice welcomed. thanks

Not sure why you were advised to use multiple half bridge devices. Use a full bridge. The 55V supply will be across the bridge supply and the transformer primary (low voltage side) across the bridge itself. The Arduino will deliver the required gate signals to switch the appropriate gates themselves although you can also do this with a simpler set of discrete circuitry. Not sure if you are using the Arduino to do regulation by PWM - in which case stick with the Arduino - but for a 'fixed' output something simper is ok.

Find a suitable full bridge device and check out the datasheet for it where as much information as you need will be found.

As a side issue, why do you have all the coils commoned as shown in the schematic? That bottom left diode could get overloaded if energised by more than one coil at a time.

yes but I can't check now I work on my machine mondays and fridays,I just got a load of different diode's in loads of different rating and put in some of a moderate size. Also I can't find the ltspice models for the UF4007 ultafast switching diode but I was thinking because my circuit is only oscillating at 50hz can i use standard 1n4007's instead

The use of high(er) voltage diodes is to suppress any back EMF that itself can be of the order 100's of volts. The 4007 might be taking the issue to extremes (it's rated at 1000V) but the 4006 or 4005 would probably be ok in this application. People often spec the 4007 as the cost difference between it and the slightly lower voltage devices is negligible.

I have decided to use in place of the uf4007 some vs-e7mh0112's instead

so im trying to make an osccilator in ltspice that pulses 50% duty cycle and 50hz to turn on a set of pins high and low I want one to be off when the other is on and when the other goes off I want to other to turn on with the fastes switching speed possible can you guys help. thanks
