Need xref for 2SC5381A for Presario MV900 Model CO1030

I have a Presario MV900 Color Monitor, Model C01030 with a shorted HOT
made by Panasonic and labeled C5381A (aka 2SC5381A). The Panasonic
website shows this to be a discontinued part with no substitution
listed. I couldn't find a datasheet anywhere either.

Can someone please help me find a datasheet or substitution for the
2SC5381A power transistor in this monitor? Better yet, does anybody
have a stash of working 2SC5381A's?

Seems not Bill. It isn't even listed in my copy of comparison tables
and as you have found out there is nothing on the www except that
Panasonic show it as discontinued with no alternative.

I think Compaq must have been given very low price on those monitors
because they used obsolete devices such as the 2SC5381A which nobody
seems to have any info on.
