Hello everyone, sorry for posting many threads but I really want to fix this thing. Here's the deal: When the console is connected via composite, audio is not present at all. When it's connected with rf, audio works, but it is clipping whenever a PCM sample is being played. I at least want to get working audio on composite.
============
What I tried
============
I replaced all capacitors on the system, sadly that had no effect. I also replaced the voltage regulator transistor, I had done that because of an unrelated issue (Audio stayed broken before and after it's replacement).

I posted pictures of the pcbs, if you need a photo of a specific part of a pcb just ask me. If you know any fixes I can do or what component I need to replace, please reply. Thank you in advance.

I'm guessing this would be the unit you ripped out the original regulator components and replaced with a 7805.

...plus component under the adjustable slug looks damaged in one of the photos (..................... 605.jpg)

because composite video doesnt contain audio .... it is video only
audio will need to come out on a separate audio connection

Bro I'm not that stupid. Of course audio doesn't come from the same connector, when I hook up composite video AND audio (yellow and white) cable, it doesn't output any audio. I mean come on, If I didn't at least know how to hook up the thing correctly I wouldn't be trying to repair it.

I doubt any of us in here are your "bro",........ however most advisors follow the guidelines, assume nothing, expect the worst, check everything.
Well, I consider most people here as my bros just because of the fact any one of them is willing to help me. I'm still fairly young and new to electronics, and I very much appreciate you guys guiding me and helping me understand a bit more about them :)). With that said, assuming I don't know how to connect 2 cables to a television is just absurd

Possibly....but it's not what you said.
Again for your benefit....... guidelines, assume nothing, expect the worst, check everything.
About time this is locked away as it's going nowhere.
