Hi to all.
I was wondering if there are any utilities to convert schematics
and libraries from old versions of Orcad( V3.21) to newer version(V 9.xx).
I have lots of old stuff that I would like to be able to open in newer versions.

Try to convert to SDT-4 format. Utilities can be found here:
www.ivex.com/techsupport/appnotes/converting_orcad_to_windraft.shtml
This format can be opened by OrCAD v.9.x (file-open-design -> files of
type "SDT ...").

You need an intermediary OrCAD v7.20 to read in v3.21. Then OrCAD
v9.x can open the v7.20 files.

You might have to do it in several steps. SDT 4 can convert SDT 3
schematics. From there you might have to convert SDT 4 to SDT 386,
then from there to version 9. You may have problems with converting
libraries.

Based on my experience with the current capture software, just stay where
you are.
Layout is hideous.
