Im trying to repair a sharp 32" tv - model # 32U-F510 . Anyone have
a schematic for this ? Or some advice ?
The picture is sunken in at the sides . This happened one day when the
owner turned it on.
Here is a picture of it :

there can be various reasons for this. a shrunken raster can indicate
power supply problems but you have e-w bowing so check the horizontal
scan areas. change electrolytic capacitors first.

Considering your question, you should be taking the set in to a service shop
to have proper safe and reliable service for your set.

You have to have a good solid knowledge of TV electronics theory, and
service experience to service your set. You will have to get the service
manual, and follow through with a scope and DVM. That is how you will be
able to find the defective parts! It is very difficult just from a picture
to know exactly what parts are the cause. There are many parts in the
horizontal scan circuits that can cause this type of fault.

There is a possibility that the fault is in an area that is referred to as
the pin-amp circuit. It works with both the horizontal and vertical
deflection amplifiers.

Jana is correct, you will need an oscilloscope and full service
information and a knowledge of how the various parts of the deflection
circuits work unless you are VERY lucky in shotgunning repairs.
