Do you have a service manual for a Sony EVS9000E Hi8
deck? If so, please could you assist me. Firstly,
I need the part number (and maybe a suggested supplier)
for the supply spool. Mine has a rather spectacular
crack in it which makes rewind unreliable. A picture
is here:

The other item I could possibly use a little help
with is, though the sound is fine, the VU meter for
the left channel does not always operate. If you
have any diagrams which show where the audio feed
to the VU meter driver chips is located, this may
help me track down which flexi cable is the cause.
