I had an interesting problem last week, thought I would share it.
I have been designing circuits with Comparators for years, and never had this problem before, and I have to admit I felt pretty foolish when I discovered what was wrong.
If you power a comparator with a single ended supply, and if either either of the inputs goes negative, you will get false triggering!
Just sharing this for anyone who has the same problem!
