Tying in Ademco Alarm Keyfobs to Door Strike Release

Hi

What can i use to have a wireless keyfob button unlock doors that has a
intercom or buzzer system? Im not actually doing the access myself,
they just want to know what is needed on the alarm side? Its a Vista 50
control. Has RF keypads.

thanks

You would have to program the keyfob button as a type 23 (no alarm response)
then enter the #93 menu, go to relay programming and create an action
triggered by that zone type

okay thanks, I'll look at the programming manual, wasnt sure if it
could do it like that or not without an external device. nevre came up
before, thanks again mark.

You will need a 4204 relay module but it can be done, then again if you want
to do a quickie way you could get a 6150RF keypad, learn the keyfob into the
keypad instead of the panel and use the relay on the 6150RF,

The second way might not work if you need the relay on for a specific time

thay have 6150RF keypads, 5 of them, there are 4 partitions.

If the strikes are partition-specific theh the relay may be the way to
go, but since there are four relays that would work to.

Our office system is set up to disarm and release the door strike with
one button.
