Can any of you please identify this component, WP_20140122_004.jpg
Its from a projector power supply board.

It looks as if it could be a themistor. Board is labelled TH102.

Any idea where can i get a replacement one online? the only number i can see on it is 5R114. nothing on Google either ..

You could draw out the circuit diagram to determine the purpose of the thermistor and its appropriate voltage rating. It looks as if it may be part of the power input circuit.

Semitec M5R114 inrush current limiter (thermistor) 5.1 ohms @25C, 6.5A

Attached is the relevant page (24) from the Semitech Product Catalog 129E. Couldn't find a good link to put here, but Google will help you find it if you want the whole thing.

May be discontinued, I don't see them for sale anywhere in small quantity. You may have to find something close, like around 5 ohms with a 6.5A or higher current rating.

This is a great finding, truly appreciate your help and time you put into this for me. I will go ahead and look for a 5 ohms 6.5A one, Thank you ModemHead.
