Hello,
I'm driving a mosfet with an 1kHz PWM-output of an ST7. The load of
this fet is a group of leds that is up to 20 meters distance.
I noticed the result is best with the gate directly connected to the
output pin of the ST7.
The scope shows a peak at every rising edge of the PWM signal. This
can be suppressed with a 47nF cap between drain and source.
Is this a good way to work? (EMC is a important issue) Are there other
things i can do to improve?
Greets.
