PSU connector replacement

Hi There i have a problem with a mixing desk PSU connector. I am looking to retrofit a new connector to the PSU / Mixer When i have come to solder new connectors the wiring colours are different from the PSU, than on the board connector. Can you explain which colour wires correspond to each other. Thanks you for you time...Gary

After consulting Mrs Zoowickies crystal ball she says connect the doohicky colour one to the thingyumybob one.......

Sorry it would help if i included the colours.... thanks for replying. PSU wires are Black White and Brown, the wires from the mixer board are Red Green and black. I am connecting with an XLR plug and socket......Many Thanks

Still none the wiser I'm afraid.

We need to know what signal (voltage) is one what wire and which wires require them! Schematics of the power unit and the mixing desk would help, as would make/model numbers of both units.
