The internet is causing many stores to close. I like to see and hold things that I buy. If something goes wrong with them then the store replaces them. I also like chatting with the store staff.
I have had a simple solder sucker for many years but more recently purchased a soldering iron with a hollow bit and a sucker pump. I think this came from CPC as a special offer. Works well.
It absolutely astounds me that some people have time to search for a site, register, login and ask a question like that.
But to be fair to the OP, maybe he/she meant :
What is a solder sucker? or
Where would you suggest buying one? or
Manual solder sucker? or
Electric vacuum machine? or
Hand, as in hobbiest, or electric professional? (see Duke37's message)
The professional ones likely have distributors somewhere nearby, who may have a display model.
.
Otherwise availability is likely location-dependent.
Not at all. Horses for courses.
The size and length (excuse my description) is important too. Not all tools fit in tight places (not again)...
What I mean is, sometimes a hand held tool is......No,No not again.
A professional would have the appropriate sucker for the job in hand.....Wow this is difficult.
Somebody help me please......
