standby switch karaoke player

i enclosed this player in a karaoke machine.. everytime i switch on the main switch to power the whole system (amplifier, TV, player, fans, etc), the player stayed in standby mode. I use the remote control to manually power on the player.. all i want is that, the player should automatic power everytime i switch on the main switch. can i hook a jumper directly in the player's standby switch? (PROs and CONs)or can i use an external push button switch for the convenience of the user.. thanks

I doubt it.
But try powering the unit while holding the standby switch. If it turns on, you may be able to jump the switch.

My first priority would be safety therefore more information would be needed there is a reason why it does not turn on and you must use the remote control and or stand by switch wouldn't you like to know the reason? And then after that you can jump all you want. holding the standby switch closed while turning the unit on, is essentially jumping the switch with the switch.
