First of all I'm not a musician, I can't play the guitar, but I have a yen to build a 3 string fretless bass guitar of the "shovel" variety or some such heresy.
I plan to use some of an old pitch pine pew for neck and body but am totally in the dark as to wiring the damned thing.
I've had a look at some bits and pieces and have come up with a list below.
Do they look suitable, bearing in mind this is for fun?
There are 2 pickups linked.
I also have concerns about the string spacing on the pickups being at 10mm and the bridge having a 12mm spacing.
Is this crucial?
