I've just come across a long lost bag of components and within it I
have some transistors which I always meant to get around to
identifying. If anyone with the right books has a spare minute to
look it up I would be very grateful.

TO92 style package,
top line 'GR_1' '_' is space
below it '425'

It is also stamped with ITT

TIA

Probably an in-house part number. If you can use your DMM to find out
if it's NPN or PNP, then it's probably something similar to the
2N3904/2N3906 or PN2222A/PN2907A, etc. In other words, just a generic
silicon transistor.

TIA
