HI All. First post here hoping someone can point me in the right direction on some products.

A group of us car guys have these cars that have a radio that has a backup camera circuit in our radios but no plug to get the signal into the radio. Some of us have been soldering the wires from a standard female patch cord into the PCB board holes. That has worked for some, some of us not that great with the solder iron well it's a mess.

I have read a bit about header pins thought that might be a better option as opposed to sticking a bare wire through the hole.

Are there such things as screw down header pins so we would not have to solder at all?

Here is a pic of the board we are dealing with. 4 pins (labeled 1-4) - 2 for a backup camera input and 2 for a DVD video input.

Any thoughts?

No. They are solder-only. The whole socket strip would have s solderable socket to fit but that means soldering 20pins instead of four!

Practise your soldering. It's not difficult to master.

See if you can insert two rows of 10 x 1 pin headers in there.

Then get some mating sockets and connect your wires to them.
