Huh? Did this fascinating thread, started by our European friend, die? I thought we were just getting started here on "feeling" how electronics work. I "feel" that transient responses are interesting and extremely difficult to understand, even with mathematics to help. BTW, only in mathematics is there ever any PROOF because math is just a form of self-consistent logic. Any other use of math is a form of analogy, including the use of math to describe Nature. Well, that's my opinion, so feel free to shoot shots at it. Sorry, Lord Kelvin.
